But, do you know that there are clever hacks and tricks you can use to clear your pimples and make them look as if they never existed? These tips and tricks would make your face look like you have never had pimples. These methods will flatten, hide, moisturize and give your face that flawless look. We are going to be learning how you can use these tricks to cover up blemishes and pimple into obscurity with make-up.
1. START WITH A FRESH SURFACE:
Your skin should be moisturized and clean from start for your make up to have the right starting surface. Wash your face with warm water before applying makeup and rub a moisturizer which is water-based.
2. MAKE USE OF PRIMERS:
Apply primers to your face to make the make-up goes smooth and stays all day long. If you choose not to use a primer across your whole face you can press it lightly onto bad spots to help the penetration of your concealer. Make sure you use oil-free primers so as to keep your make up in place and wait for few minutes before applying your foundation. If you have an oily skin, use lightweight primers because they are easier on oily skin and they are also less likely to irritate pimples/acne.
3. USE BRUSH OR SPONGE:
Use brushes or sponges to apply make-up if you choose to avoid touching your skin. If you touch your face too often, acne can be caused by bacteria on the hands which can be transferred to your face. Wash your brush and sponge at least twice a week because they can hold bacteria as well.
4. APPLY CONCEALER IN AN X PATTERN:
After waiting for few minutes for your primer to set in, you can apply the concealer in an x pattern to your pimple or acne. Pat it gently in place using your clean finger tips. Press your concealer carefully, blending it into each blemish and spot and do not rub so that it does not smear. You can choose to wait on the concealer after applying foundation because foundation will cover milder occurrences of pimples/acne.
5. APPLY FOUNDATION:
Wait for few minutes for your concealer to penetrate and set in, apply foundation using a brush. Use little and if your application does not look adequate at first, add light and even layers until you are satisfied. Wait for a few minutes for your foundation to set and then add concealer if there are still visible spots. If you will be finishing with a setting powder, you can apply it to your skin with a brush in a slow circular motion. After this, you can apply other make-ups once your foundation has set in.
6. ABSORB YOUR BASE WITH TISSUE:
Lightly press tissue into your skin and absorb excess make-up to give you that natural finish.
7. COVER UP UNDER-EYE CIRCLES:
While your make-up sets in, apply concealer to any form of darkness or under eye discolouration you might have.
In summary this hacks and tips will be very useful to give you that glam and classy look. All you need to do is to know the proper make up to use in the right proportion and how to apply it effectively.
